|Third Coast Spice Café is a unique restaurant located just a couple of miles from the shores of majestic Lake Michigan. Chef and owner David Wodrich wanted to create a menu that drew inspiration from his travels and culinary experiences. His wife Lisa wanted a restaurant where everyone would feel welcome and one that reflected the region in Northwest Indiana where they both grew up. That café was opened in June of 2008 and offers a delicious wholesome combination of their aspirations.
The menu offers plenty of choices for vegetarians and vegans and folks who have food sensitivities such as gluten intolerance. We have a strong commitment to keeping our local economy strong and use locally grown cage free eggs, in- season produce, Indiana bison, local honey and whatever else we can get our hands on that is from our part of the World. We also use organic products whenever possible and only purchase eco friendly disposables that are made from renewable resources or that are biodegradable.
